Food is sooo good! No MSG and homemade sauces. Tried the cashew beef and veggies dish, tom yum soup and thai iced tea. Everything was seasoned just right and was very fresh. Will come again!
We visited this place upon recommendation from a local friend, the food was delicious, service was impeccable, we were seated promptly, the servers and owners were very friendly! Strongly recommend to try this place if you are in the area, great place to grab a bite after visiting botanical gardens! On top of everything, the food price was also very reasonable! We tried Ramen, curried noodles and Panang curry and mochi ice cream, everything was delectable!
Came in on a whim on a Mon night as Jimmy Thai was recommended by a local friend. I was seated straight away while the restaurant was packed. A very lively atmosphere and you can feel the genuine family style of hospitality as you are seated and waited on by Jimmy himself. I ordered the green curry, pad see ew and mango sticky rice with a hot green tea. Everything came out in under 10 minutes, piping hot, fresh ingredients and flavorful. If you are in the area, this place is a hidden gem surrounded by retail stores. Support this local business if you get a chance. Your taste buds will thank you. I'll definitely be back.
So glad we found this place. Landed in Chicago from Hawaii and was greeted by snow all day. Looking for comfort food, we found this place. Wonderful staff and I believe he was the owner, made us feel so welcome. The ramen was great and so was the Thai food. Highly recommend. Much aloha to the staff there. The flower girls!
This is a great little a Thai restaurant. This was our 2nd time and it didn't disappoint. Ambiances are low key but, it works. Family friendly restaurant and also like the fact they have reasonable hours so the staff could get to there family on time. Food is absolutely delicious sticks the authentic flavors. We were party of four and we all had enjoyed our food. One of the dish off, the Golden noodles with Shrimp, it has eggs in it but didn't expect it to be very egg forward!
Stopped here for dinner during a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. The food was fantastic, and the owner’s hospitality made the experience even better. I ordered the shrimp shumai and pad see ew—both were excellent. The owner personally introduced himself, and within minutes, he generously offered me a bowl of their ramen on the house, which was outstanding. Plus, the wine was inexpensive, and the owner was more than generous with it. Definitely planning to return!
Great lunch specials for the price. I enjoyed the Pad Thai. Flavorful and not doused in sauce. The Pad See Ew was too sweet for my liking. I typically enjoy this dish when the noodles are stir fried with a bit of crisp. The appetizers were delightful. Service was pleasant and quick, which was great considering they most likely prepare themselves for the lunch rush. Atmosphere was cozy and I always love seeing the traditional and cultural decor they have up.
Great Thai place. Food was served fast. Busy on Friday evening, worth of attention. I showed the photo of food I wanted and I got it. No name but it has mushrooms and beef.
